Lunch with Marcus

Met Mark for lunch today at some little hole in the wall in West Chester.

Not a bad place. Nice variety in beer and decent cajun menu.

We settled down at the bar with a couple of Ballast Point Big Eye IPA’s and started talking beers.

Then something happened.

We started getting beers for free.

I don’t know if the bartender knew Mark, he thought we knew something about beer or we just looked like the thirstiest longshoreman this side of West Chester, but he started giving us all kinds of beers to taste.

Ok. Maybe it was just two, but how often does a bartender crack open bottles of beer in front of you for free to drink on a Friday at lunch?

Hmmph. And Jen thinks I’ll shave this beard.
