The Overhang

The gym Abigail and I climb at locally has a couple of overhangs in the kids area. Every time she see’s them she gets all excited and says she’s going to climb them. Every time she tries, she’s unable to.

So what’s a Dad to do?

Build an overhang.

I put the holds on there and watch how she uses what I put up – making adjustments if necessary. I really like setting holds for her.

Put it up and let ’em rip.

 

And Lauren too.

Lauren: “I can do that. Reach up here, reach up here. Watch out baby. Watch out!. Baby Coming. Help. Done.” She’s only 23 months old and stemming already.
