Still Feverish

Lauren still has an intermittent fever. It goes up. It goes down. She gets a little fussy. She remains the same.

Dr. says to treat the baby and not the number, though is concerned as to why this is happening.

Could be 1 of many things.

Hoof & Mouth is going around
Teeth
Roseola is going around
Urinary tract infection (the one the Dr. is really worried about considering Lauren’s kidney situation).

They tried to get a urine sample at the Dr. office using a catheter.  Lauren was so unhappy with that situation she actually ejected the catheter along with all the urine they were trying to collect. Now were back to the pee bags (I have a picture somewhere) until we can get her back in for another catheter session.

On a really good note, the preliminary results came in from the ultrasound and so far it looks like the kidney stone is gone. That’s a good thing. A really good thing. Now we just have to deal with the enlarged ureter.
