Itsy-Bitsy
We’re at that stage where we spend all day singing Itsy-Bitsty Spider and Pat-a-Cake.
She can’t get enough of either. The rain washing the spider away and rolling the dough are her favorite parts.
Because of the song, she’s become quite familiar with spiders and likes to point them out by yelling “Itsy-Bitsy! Itsy-Bitsy!”
Today while playing on the deck she let out a quick “Itsy-Bitsy” as she ran by one of the railings. Quickly I looked, but didn’t see any web.
After running by again and yelling “Itsy-Bitsy” a second time, I took a closer look.
As you can see, closer wasn’t necessary, and it’s anything but “itsy-bitsy.”
I guess I missed it for lacking a web.
It was tucked into a joint in the railing, but Abigail saw it.
Thankfully she didn’t “touch” (another of her favorite things to say and do) it.

Nice to know that I taught her something and she remembers.
Yes and she still remembers mouthing like a fish. Abigail has a very good memory.
