Family ADK 2015

Another trip to the ADK with the family.

Here are some quick pics.

Abigail snowshoed her way to within a half mile of the top (4098′) of Cascade Mt yesterday.

Lauren lasted about 50′ before she decided the backpack was a better ride

Today they both started out in the sled for the trip to Marcy Dam.

It got snowy and grey as we headed out onto Marcy Lake. Of course that wasn’t enough to stop Abigail from being first.

Feeding the Chickadees. The girls tried, but the birds were too sketched out. One landed on Abigail’s hand, but quickly flew away.

Feeding ourselves in a lean-to on the other side of the lake.

Abigail decided to snowshoe back the 2.5 miles to the car.

While Lauren continued to enjoy the sweet ride.
