The Cat

Our 17 year old cat Basil is showing her age.

Not in her looks, not in her levels of activity, but in her litter box.

Recently she’s started drinking water (and urinating) at an alarming rate.

We did blood tests and the other easy/inexpensive things to see what’s wrong, and it all came back negative.

The next step would be something like an ultrasound, which would be expensive to find out she’s old and likely to die.

Thanks but we already know that. Learned that lesson the hard way with CJ.

So we’ll see. We’ll keep cleaning the litter box and see how it goes.
