Evening Serenade

Lauren has an evening “sleep” routine similar to what Abigail had about this time.

Abigail’s was what we called “The Evening News”. After putting her to bed, she’d review out loud all the things she did, heard and saw that day.

Lauren’s has what I’d call an “Evening Serenade”. She has this high pitched voice she uses when she’s telling stories with her toys. At night she uses the same voice to talk to herself or sing herself to sleep.

It’s pretty cute of course.
