Water’s Clean

After shocking the well, flushing it, going away for a week, then flushing it some more, we got a retest and everything’s fine.

The original test we did is called the Penn State test. It tested all kinds of things. Unfortunately it showed positive for bacteria (or at least a bacteria friendly environment).

For the retest we did only a bacteria test. We’ll probably continue the bacteria tests quarterly for a year or so (then maybe just yearly?) and do the Penn State test every 5 years.

It’s really nice to have the convenience of water from the faucet again.
