My Neighbors Crap

Spent some more time staring into my neighbors septic today. Using the new and improved probing tool he dug up what he thought was the distribution box. Turns out it was an old concrete curb – that happened to be buried next to an old burn barrel too. Yeah, so we found everything but the distribution box.

I at least got the pool covered.

Can’t say the cover is doing much good considering the patching I did, but the pump is off and the chemical put away for another season. Like everything else around here, we’ll just sweep the mess under “the cover” and deal with it later.

Jen and Abigail made it to the park this morning. Turns out a birthday party was in play, so there were kids everywhere. Sorry I missed that.

Maybe I’ll manage some evening projects this week. Lord knows the work is piling up.
