Really?
I don’t need this right now.
Today I spent the day doing trim. Yes. After 5 years I’m still doing trim. Finally getting around to the closets in the kid’s rooms. Didn’t finish it of course. Only got 1 run of 3 done (our base board is actually three pieces). Eh. Not like the closets (or me) is going anywhere.
Also managed to put this little thing together for the squirt.
As you can see it was an immediate hit.
On the nuisance front, the pool hasn’t been able to maintain a satisfactory pressure since I backwashed it two weeks ago when my parents were here. Aside from taking it all completely apart and putting it all back together I’m not sure what to do. Maybe I’ll just limp it along until next year and deal with it then. It’s quite possible it just fixes itself over the winter.
Of course that requires me to first clean the pool cover that’s remained wadded up in a filthy mess in the pool area all summer.
After having the hottest July ever in Philly recorded weather history (actually the hottest month period), we’re now having the wettest August in Philly weather history (again the wettest month period). We go from no grass cutting at all for weeks to cutting it every other day as long as it’s dry. That’s definitely not helping the schedules around here.
And in the midst of all this, I’ve made a small move to Macdom.
Not really by choice. Kind of a necessary evil. So far I haven’t seen anything I’m really impressed with. It works – sometimes a little harder than a PC, but definitely stylish.
