January Routine

So when I look back and wonder what the hell happened to January…

Our product release is/was Feb., so that’s a deadline

Most days up by 7 or 7:30 dependent on Abigail.

If workday, in the office by 9 or so. If Jen was “volunteering” she’d get to work by 11.

She’d head home after 4. I’d head home after 5:30.

Get home feed the baby, bath the baby, and get the baby to bed by 7:30.

Eat something for dinner.

Work some more.

Bed by 10.

For a while, we’d watch something on Netflix via the Wii, but that stopped and work took over.

Weekends meant work too. Usually 4 – 8 hours dotted and surrounded by baby stuff.

I’m ready for it to be over. I’m tired, and I’ve been sick for over a week. Some nights I get to the point I don’t know what else to do besides work. Other nights, I can’t stand to sit in front of this thing a minute longer.

It’s still better than where I was (work wise) a year ago.
