Julian
Took the girls out to Julian this weekend. Gave Jen a night off.
Julian was a blast (even for the girls). We did all kinds of back-country redneck sort of things.
Like check out my Jeep.
Which looked surprisingly good for sitting there for 8 years.
Of course once in the barn, the girls had to try all the tractors.
John Deere – Peanut
John Deere – Lu
Ford – Peanut – with chains even!
Ford – Lu
Then it was onto the real fun – the Kubota!
There are some pretty good trails on the 15 acres that surround the property. Driving up and down and all around was a lot of fun. Unfortunately we couldn’t get the water working at the cabin; otherwise, we would have hit some mud then washed it all up before we left.
Oh and wait! There was a climbing wall too.
One that Mommy and Dad helped build years ago. It was setup way too hard for kids, so I did a little switching (after this photo) to make it more accessible to kids.
AND!!!
There was a bunk bed.
AND!!!!!
Treasure hunting! We had a whole slew of geocaches to find. We tried for 4 and found 3. Two of which were tiny or micro.
On top of all that, we even went to Denny’s
Obviously a great weekend. Really can’t wait to go back.
