Bday Gifts

I spent over an hour walking around the store last night looking for something for Abigail’s 5th birthday.

How hard could it be?

She’s 5. There should be tons of things a 5 year would be happy to have.

But she turns 5 in the middle of winter. That rules out nearly every outdoor toy.

And she’s not like Lauren where she can sit down and play with one thing for hours. Abigail prefers to play out “scenarios”. She takes what she has and pretends she’s a Mommy or something. She doesn’t need new toys to accomplish that.

After all that time I settled on a game. A game I didn’t have as a kid. A game that will test her, and she’ll love.

Operation.

It’s going to be so much fun playing that with her.
