Turning 40

One of my college roommates is turning 40 this month.

His wife and I had been planning a surprise dinner celebration for quite some time.

It all went swimmingly.

We headed to Victory for dinner and were pleasantly surprised to find it was quite tasty.

After dinner we came back to the house for a poker dice marathon – and a marathon it was.

We played until 4am!

Luckily Jen had the foresight to work out a sleep over for the girls at Grandmas.

All in all it was a lot of fun, but I’m sure glad we don’t turn 40 every year.
