Dad’s Done Swimming

Lauren had her last Pike & Parent class this past weekend. That means no more me swimming with a kid for lessons. It’s all them from now on.

She did really well too. She was able to swim down to the deep-end and back wearing just her backpack floaty. What was really cool was that she wanted to keep swimming too. Swim here, swim there it was all fun.

The instructor also gave us a really nice compliment. He said he can really tell the parents that spend time with their kids. They’re usually the ones who pick up and progress lessons easily. That was nice. It’s good to know all the work is being recognized and my kids are succeeding.
