A Parent’s Dilemma

Give her the wooden spoon to play with.

Of course it goes into her mouth. Now she’s chewing and sucking on it.

That’s no good. She’s probably filling her gums with tiny little splinters.

Giver her the rubber stirring thing. No splinters there (she hasn’t taken a liking to the handles yet).

Hmmmm. Is that thing BPA free?

Damn!

Now what?

Eh doesn’t really matter. Both are covered in far more wet dog hair than should be allowed and we as kids probably had way more toxic stuff in our mouths and bellies for much longer times.
