$19 Electric Bill
That’s what our bill was for October.

During the billing cycle from October 3rd until November 1st, our solar system produced 675 kWh.
We took from Peco 530 kWh.
We gave to Peco 434 kWh.
That means two things:
Peco only charged us for 96kWh (530 – 434).
We used 771 kWh during the billing cycle (675 – 434 + 530).
This time last year we used 796 kWh from Peco. That cost us $143.
Did we save $124 in our electric bill over last year?
Not quite. We’re still paying the loan for the system, which currently doesn’t make it very cost effective but that will change.
More on that when it happens.

ps. we have two inverters. One is bigger (the green) than the other (the red). The two combined represents the total kWh produced for the day. As you can see, even on rainy days we produce something.

that pretty good I think mine was like $124 last month. But as the kids get bigger so does their demand for kilowatts
