Little Concrete Stashes
Is it just me or does everyone have little stashes of concrete all about their yard?
It’s a good thing to have around. I remember in college the house we rented came with a pile of concrete block I used in my truck in winter. It was great. I could get anywhere with all that weight.
Luckily the apartment I first had out of college (second actually) came with it’s own stash of concrete as well. Again, I used it in the back of my truck to get around in winter.
Wouldn’t you know it? The house I bought had the mother load as far as concrete goes. Mostly it’s used to hold the pool cover in winter, but it’s found it’s way into various other uses as well. No longer do I need it for my truck, but I do need places to stash it. For the past five years it’s all been stacked along the driveway in a way you’d expect to see a car on blocks next to it or a couple of old refrigerators. Not anymore. Now it’s all discretely stowed away in various places waiting for its next function.
Whatever that may be.

ps. This is a parody of myself. Yes the stuff is useful, but who cares to blog about it? I fear such parodies of myself are often lost on the audience.
