With
all the rides Gretchen has been on lately, CJ was getting
jealous. We managed to get out Saturday morning for a
hike with the two of them.
CJ was all kinds of excited running back
and forth on the trail to explore new things and come back for
treats. Eventually his years caught up to him and he
went back to pokey
mode.

Another winter cabin trip with the Jeep
has come and gone.
It's amazing how simple we've become to be
content with only one Jeep trip a
year.

Welcome
to the frozen white world of the north.
It's especially neat at night when the
lights around the houses light up and reflect off the snow/ice
that is people's yards.
Cold is also good for clearing the head. I
need to get out there now and get things
moving.

For Jen's birthday she wanted a house
project blitz.
Things like the unpainted spot in the
spare bedroom where the ceiling caved in three days after we
closed on the house were finally finished.
It's kind of an ugly thing sanding
over your head in a room full of furniture. We decided
to double-team it with Jen on the sanding me on
the vacuum. It somewhat worked.
