There are two viewpoints. The first is the "rock quarry"
area. It's mostly rock with some
view.
The
second has more view, but you have to hike up
higher onto the mountain. The line
cutting through the opposite side of the valley is the road that accesses the
valley. Slate Run is the last point before entering the Pennsylvania
Grand Canyon.
With
the
nature
segment of our weekend over, we headed to Penn State to meet Bill for
some tailgate
action.
Figuring 109,000 people was enough for one
stadium, Jeff and I were happy to sit back in the parking
lot.
Jeff found a little friend with which to enjoy
his
afternoon.
I guess Bill is
accustomed to it, but drinking all afternoon in the sun, then
through the evening and into the night when the bars get exciting
insn't an easy thing to
do.
After nearly falling asleep in the bars, we
headed to the strip club. Turned out to be a decent place.
Within five minutes of getting there, they called up the bachelors
and birthday people to get this group dance. That's Jeff in the
middle. I was being sneaky with the camera, so the picture
isn't the best
quality.
