This is the Geneva Jet d' eau. It's a
huge fountain in Lake Geneva that propells 500 liters of water 140
meters into the air every second. It's been in operation since
1891, though renovated in 1951.

Like me you were
probably impressed with the killer view from our hotel room. Yeah,
well this was just one of the views from Michael, Joseph and
Alex's rooftop deck. Needless to say I didn't spend much time
hanging out my window for the view after spending some time
on their deck. If you look real close between the
clouds and the rooftops, you can see the outline of
mountains in the distance. Their suite was cheaper then getting
two seperate rooms in case you were
wondering how they scored the view.

Spending some quality
time on the deck with a bottle
of wine.

Some mug shots while
waiting for the sun to
set.

Joseph, the photogenic one.

Michael, preparing for
the sunset pose, which we never got. There just wasn't enough
pollution in the air for a
really pretty
sunset.

For dinner we
went to an outdoor
cafe where we had an excellant cheese fondue for an appetizer.
|
|
Then after some wine, we started taking some
pictures.

Alex doing his impression of a well fed exhausted drunk,
though it really didn't required much effort.

And Jen and I posing for a shot.
