If you look close, you can almost see the smile under
all Craig's gear. | |

The hike down was beautiful. We weren't hauling ass
like we did to get to the top, so I took some time to take
pictures. This is the main trail that goes from Pinkham Notch
to the Hermit Lake shelters. It's wide so they can get
equipment like snow cats back and forth for avalanche
rescue/safety. It was too early in the season to have had
any of that equipment up through there, so we were breaking
more trail then climbers normally
would. | |

This was a forest ranger/avalanche safety guy coming
back from the Hermit Lake area. His dog is an avalanche rescue
dog. | |

A shot of us at the bottom.

Self portrait group shot with Craig our instructor.
We look like a bunch of giggling school
girls. | |

For dinner we went to The Moat. Craig and I went for
the full rack of ribs. I also had the Smutty Nose on tap.
Mmmmmm. | |

Back at the motel it didn't take long for everyone to
pass out that night. | |
