As we were
unpacking the car, Gretchen started to bark toward the
backyard. At first I thought she was just adjusting to the new
environment. A closer look proved
otherwise.

We had a
visitor.
|

It was a female
moose. She strolled up to one of the apple trees in the
backyard and laid down. In the morning she was gone, but came
back to visit the last night we were
there.
