Those people have it bad if you need all that bug spray. Are you Planning to stay with the villagers or something. Don't they have Hotels with Air and water systems? Or are you going straight safari mode. This is for work right! Did you take a new ocupation as Indian Jones. Have fun Stay away from the snake handlers. From what I heard they are thieving gypsies that have no respect for the snakes. And the monkies are thieves too.
When have you known me not to be over prepared?
Per Dr. suggestion and company expensing, why not?
Water in India is bad. You can't even brush your teeth with it.
Hotels, AC, etc.? Cities frequently experience black/brown -outs in the evenings, so windows will be open and bugs will be vicious.
The country is experiencing near 10% economic growth each year the past couple of years. Unfortunately their infrastructure is severely lacking. The cities and rivers are festering with sewage. The electric and roads can't keep up.
It's a crazy juxtaposition of wealth/development with poverty/disease.
At least that's what I've read so far. Seeing it first person and relaying it all here will happen soon enough.
