Flying Pigs

In the past, the biggest problem we ever had with bird feeders was squirrels. Throw up some baffles and the squirrels are taken care of. Now we have a new problem. Meet the Starling


These not-so little bastards travel in flocks and completely overrun your feeders. They devour everything you have in a day leaving white spattered poop everywhere. They chase away other birds, squirrels and I think the cats. The Wild Bird Center says to try safflower seed, so we bought a bunch and filled up the feeders. Tomorrow we'll see.
