Raptor Attack

The girls wanted to drink their bedtime milk outside to watch the bats this evening. While one swooped closer to the trees, a large bird of prey swooped out and nabbed it. Very fast.  Very quiet.  Very cool to see.   – b

First Time Riding

in months… It really hurt.  It hurt in ways I don’t remember mountain biking ever hurting.  It hurt to walk up the hills, let alone ride them.  Luckily Craig broke his chain, it got dark and we ended the ride early.  Hopefully it hurts at least a little less next time.  – b
