Dirtboard

Picked up a used dirtboard for the girls to play with. The theory is that something might translate to snowboarding for them. Who knows? It was cheap, and worth a try.

We try it out on the little grassy hills in the park – gradually moving higher up the hill each turn.

The damn thing is scary with your feet pseudo attached and no way to stop.

The girls have done it standing, but find squatting is easier to get it to turn for them. Fine by me as long as they learn the mechanics of turning, since that’s what will translate to snowboarding.
