What Say?

Nearly every time you say something Lauren asks,

“What say?” or “What’s that?”, or “What you say?”.

At first Jen thought Lauren was having trouble hearing, so I’d put the question right back to her.

“You tell me Lauren. What did I say?” and she’d repeat what was said.

So it’s not her hearing. Likely she’s simply asking “What do you mean?”, so we tell her.

But all day long it’s “what say? what say? what say?
