Not According to Plan

The original plan for the day was to go to the beach for the first time with the girls.

When we finally got up at 8 after a night of many wakings with both girls and found it to be pouring rain, we decided today wasn’t such a good day for the beach.

Instead the girls played about the house/yard, while Jen and I took care of some chores.

Jen got the rug for our bedroom laid down and I made an attempt to finish the transfer switch and generator setup.

It was stupid simple to wire, but something’s not right. When I plug the generator into the system, the main breaker on the generator trips.

I went as far as to separate the inlet receptacle from the transfer switch, and it still trips.

Hopefully a friend can shed some light on the issue.
