Unfortunate Circumstance

Large portions of the yard are too wet for the grass guy to cut it, so he doesn’t cut any of it.

It’s getting tall. Really tall.

I fire up my mower to cut what I can.

A few runs in and the blade belt throws.

Put the belt back on and it throws again.

The more I try to cut, the quicker it throws.

Tonight I try to cut some more.

Starts out ok, then throws.

I think I figure out what’s wrong and try to level the deck.

It lasts a little longer.

I only have one part of the yard to go.

It runs through dog poop – dog poop I couldn’t see in the tall grass.

The front and rear tires are covered in dog poop.

Not only do you have to lay down next to the dog poop covered tires to get the belt back on, but it’s helpful to use the front tire for leverage when you do.

The belt throws.

It throws again.

And again.

I quit.
