Gonna Be a Cold One

Heading to the ADK to stay at Grace Camp this week.

The forecast is looking pretty rough.

Considering those conditions, we’ll probably stay in the valley’s and avoid treeless exposure areas.

The plan as of now is to drive up tomorrow and try to climb something in the Chapel Pond Canyon area, then hike in and settle down for the night.

Wednesday and Thursday we’ll split into separate ski and climb groups, with half of us skiing and the other half looking for something to climb.

Using Google Maps, I’ve identified a nice backcountry scar that should hopefully provide something fun.
