Mid Feb. Snow Storm

Yes. the way it’s been snowing this winter, I feel it necessary to clarify this was the snow storm of mid February.

We got around 13 inches or so.

Luckily the power stayed on.

The girls of course had a great time sledding, building snow forts and snow caves.

They also tried some snow shoes.

 

But it will be a while before we pull them out again.

The driveway took around 5 hours to clear. The snow blower did fine, it’s just most runs had to be run twice because of the volume. The bamboo wasn’t helpful either. I cut a lot of it down. It’s a weed it will grow back soon enough.

We’re going to have one hell of a fire come spring.
