Did you buy it from us?

Called the (pellet) stove shop that cleans my stove every year, yet they’re not the shop where I bought my stove, because the shop where I bought my stove is full of jackasses.

So the shop that does my cleaning and some previous service, who is typically not full of jackasses, asks me when I tell them I need a pretty important service call if I bought my stove from them?

“Uhmmm. No.”

“Sorry. We’re not available until January.”

What…….

“This is our prime installation season, and we’re not available for service for owners other than who bought from us until January.”

WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF?

Why do people wait until it gets cold to have their stoves installed?

Being the quick learner that I am (not), I called the shop where I bought my stove and got a service appointment for December 4th. Let’s hope I don’t wish I waited until January.
