Weekend so Far

Tree guys came out and cleaned the dead wood out of our oak.

Abigail and the neighbor boy Robby loved that hour of the day. Robby and his Mom were actually walking over as the trucks came rolling down the driveway. I told them next we get the kids together, they can get the tree crew.

I started (and should complete this morning) a little addition to the girls climbing wall.

More on that when I get it finished and installed. I almost quit half-way through. Things weren’t going at all as I would have liked and it was taking a significant amount of time longer than I had.

Life would be so much easier if I just sat around on my ass and watched TV.

Jen got her final coat of primer on the little dresser she bought for the girls art supplies in the kitchen. The dresser was a Craig’s list item and had some serious funk going on. After 4 or 400 coats of Killz we’re hoping that’s taken care of. I should get a picture of that effort.

Last night Jen and I went out for our 7 year anniversary. We went to a very nice and tasty restaurant, then followed it up with Bad Grandpa. That movie was hilarious. I laughed so hard my insides hurt. I couldn’t even stay in my seat.
