Typical Conversation As of Late

Lauren or Abigail in a terrified manner says,

“Bear (or big wolf) comn’!”

Me, trying to protect and teach say,

“There’s no bears or wolves anywhere near here and if there were, they wouldn’t be coming in the house with the dog around.”

Then Lauren cocks her head to the side with a great big smile and says,

“Pretending Daddy.”

Doh!
