It’s Cracked

Dr. says I have one cracked rib.

He did a thing where he pushed from the sides, which made the front (where it hurts) really hurt. Then he poked around on the front to identify and confirm it’s a single rib that is fractured. Ouch! yep.

Home with a prescription of Vicodin doesn’t really make it better.

He says two weeks for the bones to grow back together.  Another 2 weeks or more after that to completely heal.

We’ll see. So far only sleeping, blowing my nose and holding my kids certain ways is all that really hurts. Most of the time I go around waiting to do something else that will make it hurt more.
