Uh-Oh

Now that the night time temperatures are above freezing (on average), it’s time to take the pool cover pump out.

What do we have here? The water level is much higher than it’s supposed to be. It should only be around the blue thing, yet it’s up around the label.

WTH?

Did it freeze and break?

I pulled it out and plugged it into a receptacle in the garage and it worked just fine.

Hmmm.

Went back out to the pool and checked the plugs out there.

No go.

Hmmm.

Whatever. Problem for another day. At least the pump works. I’ll deal with the plugs at the pool some other time.

ps. the pool is filthier than it’s ever been covered with the new mesh filter. I was told it would clean up easily. Only time will tell.
