4 Degrees

Yes. One of my favorite Tool songs, but more importantly that was the “real feel” temperature today as I set out for a lunch time road ride.

The temperature was 19° F and the wind was blowing at 25 mph. That puts the windchill down to a nice 4° F.

It wasn’t too bad.

The sun was out.

The Brandywine was freezing along the banks.

I had a nice time.

It’s not like I’m going to freeze to death on a thirty minute bike ride. My breath on my sunglasses didn’t even freeze. No ice in my beard.

The low for tonight is currently forecasted for 6° F. Would be a good night to sleep on the deck, but I’ve got baby duties tonight. The molars are cutting bad and she’s waking up a lot.

Whatever.
