Didn’t Get Very Far

After blowing 2 hours because of my own knucklehead inattentiveness in setting up a dehumidifier at Grandmas house, I got to work on the new storage area.

As of 10:30 last night, I wasn’t even halfway.

Though I had lots of help

Throughout the day.

There are two issues that are making this difficult.

The first is the cheap-ass screws I’m using. I had this huge box of 3″ galvanized screws I figured I’d use up. Now I know why I never used them. They totally suck. They bend, wobble and strip as you put them in. Drilling pilot holes makes them marginally better. Still I persist. It’s not like I’m just going to throw them out.

The second is the receptacle you see in the picture with Abigail. It’s not in the way, but it’s not in an optimal position and needs more outlets if I’m going to run both fridges from that wall. Can’t say I’m really  “into” electrical at the moment. I’d rather just screw the boards together, throw the bins on and move on.

We’ll see how far I get tonight if at all.
