Dizzies

Monday afternoon I noticed a little weirdness. Felt like I was floating a little.

Rode the motorcycle home, a little concerned, and drove back for a happy hour.

After a few decent beers (and very little food) got home and tried to go to bed, but thing were really spinning.

Jen said it was the beer, but it felt different and worse.

Finally I was able to fall asleep.

Up with Lauren, but still not steady.

Up that morning and I was all over the place. Couldn’t eat – felt really nauseous. Jen said it was a hangover, but it still felt different. My nose wasn’t in the best of shape. I was becoming more convinced this was nasal/ear issue.

We were supposed to go to a pre-school to check it out for Abigail, but I couldn’t go anywhere.

Suddenly before Jen and her Dad were about to leave, I felt better.

I eventually got to work, but things were still tipsy. Sit at my desk, don’t move much and things were ok.

As the day wore on it got better leading me to agree with Jen.

Go to bed with my foot on the floor for the second night, and still wake up not right.

So now it’s not a hangover. Maybe there was a hangover exacerbating this before, but two days later is not just a hangover.

As the week wore on it subsided. Never got really sick like I expected – like I have in the past when this has happened.

And so it goes…
