Bent My Trailer

Picked up the boards to replace half the ones on the deck.

The towing went just fine. It was rather convenient I could do it so easily with the trailer and the Subaru.

The bending took place once I got home.

I realized because of the front and back edges of the trailer being an inch and a half high, there was a dip in the middle of the trailer under the boards. Considering they’re going to sit for a few days, I got worried they’d warp too much. With the trailer still attached to the car, I slid all the boards to the back edge of the trailer while I placed spacers in the middle of the trailer to fill in the gap. For the few minutes the 35 12′ boards were propped on the back of the trailer they bent it.

If you look close, you’ll see the gap between the boards and the trailer behind the tail light.

Lovely.
