The Castor Oil didn’t work (the midwives were really surprised). Sweeping the membranes (twice) didn’t work. Sex hasn’t worked. One starts to wonder if maybe it’s just not time … Today’s plan is to “sweep the membranes” – again and do the Castor Oil – again. We’ll see. – b ps. edit – no Castor […]
It’s On!
4 oz. of Caster Oil going down as I type. If that doesn’t initiate labor in 4 – 6 hours, another 4 oz. goes down. I hope for her sake it works, so the rigors of labor drown out the unpleasant Caster Oil experience. – b
Latest Update
Jen had her “membranes swept” again and was given some cater oil. Her instructions are to call The Birth Center tomorrow to find out their load (they only have capacity for 4 births at one time). If it’s light, she downs the caster oil. We shall see. – b
