Todays Triumph

I successfully drilled out the rivet on the foot-peg of my kayak and got it working again.

I replaced the rivet with a stainless steel bolt and lock-nut.

Good thing too. The East Branch of the Brandywine is currently in flood stage and on its way higher. Could be some nice paddling tomorrow as it comes back down.

Though tomorrows triumph is more about Abigail. Like to see if we can get her either on a bike or in a boat (on the lake, no creeks for her – yet). Just some short little jaunt to get her curious.

Who knew rain could be so exciting?!?!
