AM Hike(s)
So a friend got a dog from another friend.
Holy cow! What a breed!
Her name’s Violet and she’s a German Shorthaired Pointer.
Being that Violet is young, full of energy and new to the block, Mark and I met up this morning at Marsh Creek for a little hike to start the day.
Gretchen and Violet got along marvelously.
Then did some chasing.
And them some more chasing. All in good fun of course.
After that it was some fetch.
Then we headed back.
All before sunrise.
Considering Violet’s breed and Gretchen’s requirement for exercise, this will probably become a routine. Obviously the goal is to get her biking, but not before she’s done growing.

What a great dog…glad she gets along with yours 🙂
I should post a blog of her trying to get food off the counter. Or taking our shoes to get us moving. I am thinking I need reverse pyschology to get her from jumping up. Not so sure I like the 5 am schedule either, especially on Thursday. Overall she has been a joy and listens well. She just needs that outlet. Can’t wait to take her for long rides.
