Abigail’s been a little fussy lately.

The other week she had a mild temperature that seemed to come out of nowhere.

Two days ago her nose started running – like a faucet. She’d leave puddles of snot in the dimples of her chipmunk cheeks.

Turns out she got teeth. Two of them. Little ridges of sharp enamel pushing up through her gums under her tongue.

Now that they’re through, the runny nose and fussiness are all gone.

At least until the next ones.
