Christmas this year was at our house. Usually
Jen and I rotate where we spend the holidays. Since I started a
new job this year and couldn't take off time to go to Tennessee, we
had the Tennesseans come
up
north for Christmas.

Another shot
of our pretty tree.

Before the holiday got
too busy, we exchanged gifts with Jeff our roommate. Here he is
trying out his new mirrored birdfeeder. As you can sort of see
this side is mirrored so he can get real close to the birds
without them
seeing him. The metal bar holds the feeder on his window
sill.

Tuesday the 21st my parents showed
up. They had the van packed full of
gifts and goodies.
Friday the 24th my
sister and Andy and arrived. They flew in on USAir to Philly. Though
they look exhausted the trip for them wasn't too bad. The
flight was only an hour late and the baggage took 45 mintutes to
show
up.

Christmas eve
we sat around the
fire for a while.
Finally christmas
arrived. Here's Andy and Melissa starting out with
their stockings.
Here is Jen and I digging into our stockings.
This is the before picture. At this point
we've only opened our stockings and haven't got into the gifts
yet. Notice how clean and open
the room looks.
One end of the room starting to
get into things.
Then the other. A pile is
starting to grow in
front of
Jen.
My
mom's dog Daisy enjoying the gift of warmth while Jen opens
something.
My
mom got Jen and I a place to save up our house fund. It's a little
crock with an outhouse for a lid. The caption says New House
Fund.
Melissa got a
Barbie backpack fishing rod kit to go fishing with Andy.
Even CJ got a
gift.
Overall view of the room.
And the pile continues to grow.
All the anticipation, time, wrapping and prepartion was
over in a few exhausting minutes. Actually it was like an hour,
but we were tired and ready for a nap.
