My mom finally sold my Grandmother's house and had a week to get everything moved across the street to their new house. I drove down Friday night to help with the big things. I took with me my old washer/dryer and my chopping block. My dad would then haul the washer/dryer to my sister and the chopping block to my cousin Gus to repair. The drive was brutal. It took eight hours throug traffic, rain, an accident and a dying tarp.

My mom's cousin Freddy drove down from Charleston to help. Basically we loaded as much as we could into the trailer (four times or so) and
drove it across the street to unload at the new house.

Here Freddy and I move a couch into the basemet. There's actually a fireplace to the right of me.  Freddy and I had to do all the heavy work,
since my dad was still recovering from his eye surgery.

After all the furniture was moved, we loaded up the trailer with things my dad wanted to take back to TN. I actually pushed this mower all the
way from the backyard of my Grandmother's old house to the front yard of the new house thinking it wouldn't start. Once on the trailer I tried
something my dad hadn't (disengage the blades) and it started right up.

In addition to moving stuff, there was a home building supply auction going on in the next town, that we kept running over to. It was
interesting, but nothing really necessary for buying.
