We went to Killington the week of February
2 - 5. Jen's aunt's boyfriend's (Jimmy) boss, let Jimmy and his
guests (us) stay at his ski lodge near the base of
Killington. They call it Elk Inn. Sunday we drove up
to
Saratoga Springs and stayed at the
Six
Sisters Bed and Breakfast, before driving up to Killington
Monday morning. This is the Elk Inn. It's a great location.
The lifts on Killington close at 4pm, and we could get back
to the house by 4:15
to get a fire
started.

Tuesday afternoon a
snow storm blew in. It was total white-out conditions on top
of the mountain. This is
SnowShed Lodge where we parked, rented equipment, etc.

We stayed in Tuesday
night while
the
snow came down.

Jen
and Neti getting some wine.

Wednesday morning we
woke up to 8" of fresh snow. I actually got up at 6:30am to make
sure the car was clear and ready to get to the mountain by
8:30. I
didn't want to miss the
fresh snow on the mountain.

Jen on skis. She took
lessons all week and was doing pretty well
by the end.

I was using a
snowboard for most of the trip, but decided to rent skis the last
day. It's been 14 years since I was
on skis. It wasn't too bad.
