Jeeps at the cabin February, 2000

Somewhere along the way through college Bill and I got into Jeeps. It all started with a 79 CJ-5 he got our
junior year. It was an absolute beast. Fast forward a few years and now I have a 69 CJ-5 and Bill has another
79 CJ-5. Though most of Bill's jeep was complete, I'm not sure why it didn't make the February 2000 Jeep
Adventure at the cabin. Jeff took the pictures and put together a little scrap book comemorating the event.

Every Since my truck does not have four wheel drive, I had to leave it and the jeep at the top of the hill above
the cabin.

We unhooked my jeep and probably rolled it down to the cabin to install the drive shaft. You always have
to remove the drive shaft when towing the jeep.

We were having a lot of trouble getting the jeep to start. Our assumption was the wiring got soaked on the
tow to the cabin the night before, so we tried to dry things out with a hair dryer.

At some point someone asked if the jeep had enough gas and that turned out to be the real problem.

After the gas bit we were on our way.  On the way up the mountain, we thought we heard a strange noise.
Turned out to be nothing.

A pose with the jeep somewhere near the top of the mountain.

The jeep posing with the incredible view.

Yet another pose.
