So Jen and I are currently under contract to buy this house .  We've been passively looking at houses for about six months. Our plan was to get married then get serious about buying a house. When this one showed up in our internet searches, things got turned around. It has only been on the market six days when we put in an offer. Two weeks later we were getting a house inspection.

Our realtor, Petra Drauschak from Prudential, Fox & Roach, got us this husband and wife inspection
team. The woman talking to me and Jen is one of the inspectors. The woman in the plaid shirt is our
realtor's assistant.  Here the inspector is telling us about the friendly yellow jackets nest in the ground
against the house.

Strolling down through the front yard - notice the detached two-car garage?

Here the inspector is telling us that putting lattice around the propane tank would just be silly considering
there's already too much lattice around the deck. Maybe we'll just use some more umbrella/awning things
to cover the tank, since there doesn't seem to be enough of those around.

Gathering in the kitchen for the inspection document review.

The document was great. It mostly had pictures of the excessive use of lattice and yellow jacket nest
location.

If there wasn't so much lattice in this picture, you might actually see the lovely in-ground pool it surrounds.

Directly behind the house is a township park. In the summer it should have soccer and baseball fields full
of screaming kids and parents.  Ahhh Home Sweet Home!
